Bruce & Rose Art Collection Charity Sale for Peacemaking

The artwork to be sold to benefit the KUC Peacemaking Program has been acquired over several decades beginning in the 1980s. Coming from different parts of the world—Europe, Africa and Latin America as well as various parts of Asia—the artwork is like the asylum-seekers and refugees who have come to Hong Kong from many corners of the globe to seek a place where they will not face persecution. The donors of these artworks, Bruce Van Voorhis (also a member of KUC) and Rose Wu, wish that the proceeds of the charity sale will be used for the ministry of the church that aims to make the lives of the asylum-seekers and refugees a more comfortable home during their time in our community.
